Welcome to The Lickity Split Fire Truck website.

Many people have asked us "Why would anybody buy and restore an old Fire Truck?"

The simple answer is "Because we can!". The more complex answer is because it has been a tremendous amount of fun.  We never had thought that the Lickity Split Fire Truck would be such a a big hit with everyone both young and old.

To take something that has such a proud heritage and being able to breathe new life in it has been a wonderful experience. Although this was our first attempt at a car restoration, we couldn't be happier with the results.

We made every attempt to restore the truck to it's original condition, but we also kept in mind that this was to be a "fun" project. So we added a few of our own touches.
